Families and friends come together again in the seaside-town of Carpinteria to celebrate St. Joseph Church’s 67th Annual Festival. Opening Night is Friday, July 12, 2024: 5-11:00 PM and Saturday, July 13, 2024: Noon to 11:00 PM & Sunday, July 14, 2024, Noon to 9:00 PM.
FREE PARKING - FREE ADMISSION
Live entertainment will be held nightly in both English and Spanish.Festival food favorites will be available throughout the Festival including BBQ Tri Tip, Hot-Dogs, Tacos, Enchiladas, and Pozole. Also included are other mouth-watering foods such as home-style and large-portioned strawberry short cake, churros and cotton candy. The Beer Garden will provide wine and beer for adults, other drinks available include sodas, Aguas Frescas, including Horchata, home-made lemonade and iced teas.There will be plenty of rides for all ages. The large Ferris wheel provides views of the ocean and mountains surrounding Carpinteria. Surprise thriller rides are available for all thrill seekers, and the popular Basketball Shoot and other rides and amusements (fun house & family slide) can be enjoyed by all. Saturday, July 13, 2024 from Noon to 6:00 PM special ride wristbands will be offered for admittance to all rides. Pre-Sale Ride Wristbands for Saturday are $25.00 and are available in the Church Office. Wristbands will be sold at the festival on Saturday, July 13, 2024 for $30. La Tiendita and Puerto Vallarta Fashion will also be selling ride tickets only. Pre-sale wristbands must be purchased at the parish office.
A $3,000 grand raffle drawing will be held on Sunday, July 14, 2024 at 8:00 pm. Two other cash prizes will also be awarded at that time. Daily, hourly Raffle drawings for many local prizes will be awarded throughout the Festival. Raffle tickets can be picked up at the church office or at the Festival for a donation of $1 each.
The festival is the main fundraiser for St. Joseph Church; it provides funds for the many ministries which meet the spiritual needs of the St. Joseph community throughout the year. Besides church ministries, Baptisms, Sacraments, Marriage Preparation, Prayer Groups, there are outreach ministries which include Prevention and Rescue, Rite of Catholic Adult Initiation and Religious Education for all ages. People in St. Joseph participate in the many committees required of this size of church. There is a thriving and popular “Resale Shop” operating during the week, and other aid for people in need, including the working poor.

Las familias y los amigos se reúnen nuevamente en la ciudad costera de Carpinteria para celebrar el 66º Festival Anual de la Iglesia de San José. La Noche de Apertura es el viernes 12 de julio 2024 de 5:00 a 11:00 p.m. Sabado 13 de julio de 2024 de medio dia a las 1 a las 11:00 p.m. Y Domingo 14 de julio 2024, del mediodía a las 9:00 p.m.
ESTACIONAMIENTO GRATUITO - ENTRADA GRATUITA
El entretenimiento en vivo se llevará a cabo todas las noches en inglés y español.
