“And others are the ones sown among thorns; they are those who hear the word, but the cares of the world, and the delight in riches, and the desire for other things, enter in and choke the word,  and it proves unfruitful. But those that were sown upon the good soil are the ones who hear the word and accept it and bear fruit, thirtyfold and sixtyfold and a hundredfold.” Mark 4:18-20.

“Lord, keep your grace in my heart. Live in me so that your grace be mine. Make it that I may bear everyday some flowers and new fruit.” St. Gianna Beretta Molla.

Lord Jesus we long to be fruitful in our lives. Pluck out of our life the thorns which choke all that is godly in us; the inordinate care for the world, the unhealthy delight and desires and all that which militate against You within us. May Your grace bring plenty of fruit in our lives. Amen.

"Los que reciben la semilla entre espinas; son los que escuchan la palabra, pero los afanes del mundo, y el deleite en las riquezas, y el deseo de otras cosas, entran y ahogan la palabra, y resulta infructuosa. Pero los que fueron sembrados en buena tierra son los que oyen la palabra, la aceptan y dan fruto, unos de treinta, otros sesenta y otros de ciento por uno". Marcos 4:18-20.

"Señor, guarda tu gracia en mi corazón. Vive en mí para que tu gracia sea mía. Haz que todos los días pueda dar algunas flores y frutos nuevos." Santa Gianna Beretta Molla.

Señor Jesús, anhelamos ser fructíferos en nuestras vidas. Arranca de nuestra vida las espinas que ahogan todo lo que hay de piadoso en nosotros; el cuidado desordenado por el mundo, el deleite y los deseos malsanos y todo lo que milita contra Ti dentro de nosotros. Que Tu gracia traiga mucho fruto a nuestras vidas. Amén.
